Hope the Giraffe was a character created to offer positivity, encouragement and love for the Systemic Juvenille Idiopathic Arthritis (SJIA) community. She shares messages of hope for those with Auto Inflammatory Diseases, and her multi-colored spots symbolize how different she is to help drive awareness of the condition.
In an effort to extend her impact beyond the physical world, we created her very own Facebook page to encourage those affected to share uplifting messages with one another. We even made an augmented reality version of her, so children can interact with her virtually while in the doctor’s office and at home.
